J Marr Group CSP Programme 2024

Dear All

J.Marr Group is pleased to announce its CSR Programme for 2024. The programme will consist of 4 parts :

Part 1 : Mires Beck Nursery

Mires Beck Nursery provide work experience and social therapeutic horticulture for adults who live with the challenges of learning difficulties, Autism and physical disabilities within their 14 acre nursery and conservation site.

Part 2 : Hull and East Riding Childrens University

A charity working with primary school children (usually 9 and 10 year olds) growing up in disadvantaged areas of Hull and East Yorkshire who may not have the same opportunities as others. Many of the children will not have been much further than the street they live in and some will never visit another city until they reach adulthood. The aim of the charity is to work with the children by providing experiences that broaden their horizons and raise their aspirations.

Part 3 : Special Stars Foundation

Currently supporting around 5000 families. The primary focus is to improve the quality of life for people with significant learning and physical disabilities and their families who live within Hull and East Yorkshire. The charity provides creative learning and social activities for all family members, they also offer support, social, training and advice services for parent carers.

Part 4 : Miscellaneous, one-off Support

We will also have the opportunity to support and donate to other worthwhile local charities throughout the year, we will be happy to consider charities that you may currently support or are involved with.

As you will note we are focusing on Local charities where we believe our support can have the most impact. We are excited about the opportunities that our CSR Programme will afford in 2024 and look forward to your support with these initiatives.
