J Marr Showcases Innovation at the Global Seafood Expo in Barcelona 2024

This April, J Marr proudly exhibited at the Global Seafood Expo in Barcelona, from 23rd to 25th. Teaming up with Fastnet on a newly designed stand, we not only exhibited our latest offerings but also showcased the creative talents of our own staff member, Ed, whose photography work added a unique flair to our presentation.

Despite a slight drop in overall footfall compared to last year, the quality of engagements this year was unparalleled. The three-day event was packed with fruitful meetings, both at our vibrant stand and in various locations around the venue, facilitating deeper connections with both existing and potential new suppliers and customers.

The team was led by the ever-capable Kim, with Ryan lending his social charm to ensure all visitors felt warmly welcomed. After long days at the expo, the team enjoyed the local hospitality, including dinners at Barcelona's renowned Botafumeiro restaurant among other exquisite culinary spots. Accommodations were provided by the Grand Hyatt Hotel, where the service remained impeccable as always, and many team members relished the new Peruvian cuisine on offer.

The expo was a particularly memorable one for Spen, attending for his first time, and like the rest of the team, left with valuable insights and enhanced relationships.
