This is an exciting role that offers the opportunity to work as part of the Trading team and assist with the growth of the seafood/commodities business. The post holder must be passionate about the products we sell, be capable of challenging, influencing, making high-level decisions, effectively managing relationships and delivering financial performance.
The role includes, managing the existing portfolio of suppliers and customers, as well as brining in new business, negotiating across both sales and sourcing to generate profit for the business and to assist the trading team in the growth of market share and diversification of products and origins. The ideal candidate will have exceptional buying and selling skills ideally having previous experience in trading fish or meat and poultry commodities, they will be commercially astute and an expert in managing financial performance, they must have strong organisational and communication skills
Business Partner Lead – Customer Experience
The Business Partner Lead – Customer Experience (BPLCE) will
work with Internal & External stakeholders to create, develop, enhance and
improve the J Marr Customer Experience. Working across internal teams the BPLCE
will be responsible for managing & maintaining a seamless link between
internal business processes which in turn leads to a World Class customer
experience within the external Customer value chain. The BPLCE will have clear
KPIs which are financial (avoid customer claims and charges) and non-financial
(ultimately customer satisfaction).
The role includes working with Team Managers and the BPL –
People and Culture to embed the company values across functions to ensure a
world class customer experience, they will be the first point of contact for
customer queries relating to Export Documentation, Container Operations and
Finance, they will develop external reporting tools to enhance the customer
experience, along with Analysing customer feedback and data to identify areas
This role will involve working
closely with the Container Operations Manager, the Container Operations
Business Partner and the Container Operations Team.
This role will report directly
to the Container Operations manager and will include working with external
customers, suppliers, container shipping lines and internal teams to ensure all
orders are shipped as per the terms of the sales contract, they will seek
opportunities to reduce logistics costs and enhance performance and service
levels, this role will be part of the Container Risk working group to manage
and minimise the risks involved in the container trade, there will also be
project work as and when required. For this role the ideal candidate will have
